The Sumter High School AFJROTC drill team successfully fended off nine other schools to bring the Air Force Junior ROTC State Champion trophy back to the roost. In addition to the champion trophy, the Sumter cadets walked away with: eight first place trophies, three second place trophies and one third place trophy. Additionally, Cadet Major Devin Clabeaux won first place in Armed Knockout Drill. Overall it was a very successful day for Sumter School District JROTC units.
