Gear Up has partnered with Everfi to host a Virtual Career Day on Wednesday, February 24th from 10:00 – 10:45 am. for 9 th grade students.
During this Virtual Career Day, panelists from BB&T now Truist will share their professional journeys, career advice, and interview tips. At the end, we’ll leave some time for the speakers to answer student questions. Students if you are interested in this opportunity, please fill out the registration form by clicking on the link:

**UPDATED INFORMATION**
Dell Chromebooks are now being distributed to JUNIORS. There is a specific order being followed so JUNIORS WILL RECEIVE AN EMAIL invitation regarding Chromebook pick up. In order to get a Chromebook, the student must follow the directions in the email. Juniors who come in to pick up their Chromebook must either bring a signed Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) or the parent/guardian and student can both sign one when they come to pick up their Chromebook if one is not already on file. A DIGITAL SIGNATURE IS NOT ACCEPTABLE. Any other students who have Chromebook issues need to contact the library for troubleshooting.

Parents who wish for their child(ren) to remain virtual once the second semester begins are asked to complete the Virtual Learning Request form. The Virtual Learning Request form must be completed by the parent/guardian for each student that will receive virtual (online) educational services and instruction through Sumter School District.
