N-Spire Scholarship Opportunities

Deadline: June 18, 2021

Amount: More than $800,000 is available across 10 grant programs for students who apply by June 18.

We’re looking for exceptional students ready to make an impact in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM), marketing, communications, the arts, and more.

Applicants must:

  • Be a member of the NAACP. If you are not a member of the NAACP, join today.
  • Be African American or a person of color.
  • Be currently enrolled full-time or accepted to an accredited college or university in the U.S.
  • Be a graduating high school senior, undergraduate student, or graduate student.
  • Possess a grade point average of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 system.

CONSTRUCTION TRAINING CENTER Scholarship

Amount: $4,200 -full cost of program and materials
Deadline: May 30, 2021

Description:
This will cover your tuition, study materials, tools, and boots. Upon
successful completion of the 4-week Drywall Certificate Program, you will have
two NCCER Certifications, Core and Drywall level 1.To qualify for the Scholarship, complete the  CTC Scholarship Application and email it to cadkins@constructiontrainingcenter.org

The Rudolph Canzater Scholarship is a need-based scholarship.
Applicants must be residents of the Sixth Congressional District of South Carolina or attending a college, university, or technical school in the Sixth Congressional District.

Ebenezer Alumni Association Scholarships

Amount: six (6) one thousand dollar ($1,000) scholarships – Three Academic scholarships and three Economic scholarships
Deadline: May 31st, 2021
Qualifications:
-be a graduating senior in high school
-have at least a 2.5 grade point average
-be involved in some civic or community activities
-display good citizenship qualities

Bertila’s Foundation Scholarship
Bertila’s Foundation Scholarship is a special funding opportunity that is offered to high school seniors and college students. This scholarship was established in memory of Bertila Boyd-Bostic, Esquire by the foundation whose initiative is to support a high school senior that has been accepted to an accredited 4-year college and a college student that is currently attending an accredited 4-year college.  The application deadline is June 17, 2021 (No exceptions).

The BlueCross BlueShield Scholarship

The BlueCross BlueShield Scholarship is a ​$5,000 scholarship that is awarded every year to a graduating African-American high school senior who resides in Allendale, Clarendon, Fairfield, Kershaw, Lee, Lexington, Newberry, Richland, and Sumter Counties. Applicants must have been a former participant in a Columbia Urban League Program, have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.00, be accepted by an accredited college or university at the time of the scholarship award, and meet the financial need requirement.

To apply, please download the application and return it to the Columbia Urban League. Applications must be postmarked by Friday, May 07, 2021. Please be sure to submit all necessary documentation with the application.


​WWDM Brenda Jones Memorial Scholarship

The WWDM Brenda Jones Memorial Scholarship is a $5,000 Scholarship that is awarded every year to a graduating African-American high school senior who resides in Fairfield, Lexington, Newberry, Richland, and Sumter Counties. Applicants must have been accepted by an accredited college or university at the time of the scholarship award and meet the financial need requirement.

To apply, please download the application and return it to the Columbia Urban League. Applications must be postmarked by Friday, May 07, 2021. Please be sure to submit all necessary documentation with the application.

Glory Communications, Inc. has assisted students in the Midlands and surrounding areas since 1998 through Future Leader Scholarship awards. We know the value of a good education, and certainly understand that finances play a key role in being able to pursue higher education. Harris and Graves Scholarship

Harris & Graves is excited to announce our annual $1,000 scholarship, which is available to college students in North or South Carolina who have been accepted to or are currently enrolled in a 2-year college or 4- year university with a GPA of at least 3.0.

 CTEA Scholarship 2021 application

The South Carolina Association of Extension Administrative Professionals (SCAEAP) offers a $1000 scholarship to students pursuing a career in the secretarial/computer science or business management field. The Gwen Diaz Scholarship
To be eligible, the applicant must:
