DUAL ENROLLMENT

Dual enrollment, also know as concurrent enrollment, is a program that allows high school students to take college courses while still in high school. Students can earn college credit while also earning high school credit, and these courses can count towards their high school diploma. 

Dual enrollment can be benefical for a number of reasons, including: 

  • Early college start: Students can begin college early and save money.
  • Academically motivated students: Students can take college courses to satisfy high school graduation requirements.

SHS Dual Enrollment Withdrawal Policy

Students will receive a WF on their SHS transcript if they withdraw from their dual enrollment class(es)  after:

►5 Business Days from when the class started for 16 week classes

►3 Business Days from when the class started for minimester classes

regardless if the student have a passing or failing grade at the time of the withdrawal.

WF= withdraw/failing grade that does affect GPA.
